Jelena Sutra. Zatlers is going to celebrate the anniversary of the independent Lithuania

The President of Latvia Valdis Zatlers is going to visit Lithuania on the 11th of March for the celebration of the 20th independence anniversary of the neighbouring state.
It is expected that Presidents of Estonia - Toomas Hendrik Ilves, Poland - Lech Kaczynski, Finland – Tarja Kaarina Halonen, and Slovenia – Danilo Türk, will participate in the events of the 11 March.
The President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenka has also received the invitation from the Head of the Lithuanian state Dalia Grybauskaite, however, he has not yet confirmed his participation and will respond on the issue on Monday, 8 March.
Acting President of Moldova Michai Ghimpu will also arrive to the commemorative events of Lithuania. Georgia will be represented by the Chairman of the Parliament David Bakradze, and Sweden – by the Head of the Riksdag Per Westerberg.
On the 11th of March Lithuania is going to celebrate the 20th anniversary of signing the Act concerning the “Restitution of the Independent Lithuanian State”.
