The Minister of Justice of Ukraine Olena Lukash said that Ukraine will definitely sign the Association Agreement with the European Union.

She stated about that in the program "Shuster live" on the TV channel "Inter" dedicated to the results of the Vilnius summit, reported UKRINFORM.

"I will be brief: the signing will be. The agreement will be definitely signed after the interests of Ukraine are considered", - said Lukasz, responding to a question about the future of the Association Agreement with the EU.

However, she stressed that we should not be tied to the date of signing the Association Agreement, but focus on the terms and conditions of it.

Lucas explained that ratification of the agreement is a rather lengthy procedure, and no agreement shall enter into force upon signature.

"28 countries - members of the EU - at a time convenient to their parliaments have to ratify the agreement by voting. If at least one country is not happy with anything though - elective justice or the rights of sexual minorities - and refused to vote, the agreement is not valid “- said Lukasz.

Alexander Lukashenko on 9 January signed a decree № 8 "On the establishment of visa-free entry and exit of foreign nationals." The document establishes visa-free entry to Belarus for a period not exceeding 5 days at the entrance through the checkpoint "National Airport Minsk" for citizens of 80 countries, - reported the press service of the President of Belarus.
