Outcomes of the VilniusSummit under the Programme “Eastern Partnership” will be discussed in the capital of Estonia

On 12 December debates will be held at the TallinnUniversity between the ambassadors of the European Union member states – participants in the Programme “Eastern Partnership”, reported to IA REGNUM on 11 December at the EuropeanCollege of the TartuUniversity, one of the organizers of the event along with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia.
The program of the debate covers the outcomes of the November Summit in Vilnius, future prospects for economic and political cooperation between the countries of the Eastern Partnership and the European Union, and in particular, with Estonia. It will also discuss the status of the Association Agreement initialled by Moldova and Georgia, and the free trade with the EU, the final signing of which is expected in 2014 already. Diplomats will exchange views on the refusal of Ukraine to sign the Association Agreement aimed at preserving the existing trade relations with the Russian Federation.
The debates will be attended by the ambassadors to Estonia of all countries participating in the Programme “Eastern Partnership”, teachers of the Institute of Political Sciences of the TartuUniversity, and political experts: the Head of the Estonian Centre of Eastern Partnership Marge Mardisalu - Kahar, analyst Ahto Lobyakas and others. Professor of the Tallinn University Andrew Makarichev is commissioned to conduct the debates.
